The cylindrical evaporator roller is driven by a motor via a shaft and has an outer surface wetted with water. The roller has at least one refrigerant duct connected to a feeder duct (13) running inside the shaft, and to a discharge duct (12). The shaft of the evaporator roller is pivoted on the machine housing. A dynamic seal (24,25) is arranged between the feeder or discharge duct on one side, and between a connecting nipple (19,21) to a feeder pipe (14) or discharge pipe (15) on the other side. A sealing bushing (22,23) is sealed on one side from the connecting nipple, on the other side being spring loaded in an axial direction as holder for the dynamic seal to a pipe socket (17,18) rotating with the shaft and forming the start of the feeder duct. A bellows (26,27) connected to the sealing bushing and connecting nipple is positioned between the sealing bushing and connecting nipple.
