An electrical module 18 is built into the door 1 of a road vehicle and is connected to the wiring loom 9 that is fixed to the vehicle body 8. Within the door the cable connection to the module is located within a protective tube 4 and at the door end is a housing 12 into which is set a pivot 13 mounted socket 10. This allows the connector to turn when the door is opened and closed.
