PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make printing information visible through a backing layer by forming a thermal recording layer from a reversible thermal recording material which phase- changes reversibly between a transparent state and a cloudy state by heat and can keep each state at an ordinary temperature and laminating the backing layer formed from a resin material having light transmittance and heat resistance on the thermal recording layer. SOLUTION: A thermal recording layer is formed from a reversible thermal recording material which phase-changes reversibly between a transparent state 3a and a cloudy state 3b by heat and can keep each state 3a, 3b at an ordinary temperature. On one side of the layer 3 are laminated a light reflection layer 4 and a protective layer, and a backing layer 6 is laminated on the other side. A material having light transmittance and heat resistance is used for the backing layer 6. Thus, a place in the transparent state 3a of the recording layer 3 can be made visible to be in the transparent state 3a by the reflection of light which passed through the backing layer 6 at the reflection layer 4, while a place in the cloudy state 3b is made visible to be in the cloudy state 3b by the irregular reflection of light which passed through the later 6.
