<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of operations for a CPU and to suppress power consumption by executing timer processing of a watch-dog timer and a controlling timer by adjusting it to the time at which the receiving processing of a down signal is carried out, when the synchronization with the down signal is made. SOLUTION: When a mobile radio communication terminal synchronizes with a down signal that is periodically received by a radio base station, the mobile radio communication terminal grasps the receiving timing of the down signal and can grasp a period from receiving a down signal till receiving the next down signal. Then, a CPU 1 executes the timer processing of a watch-dog timer 5 and other controlling timers which are needed during waiting together with the receiving processing of a down signal in the receiving timing of a down signal. That is, the operation of the CPU 1 for the receiving processing of a down signal and the operation of the CPU 1 for the timer processing which is performed by the time-out of a hardware timer are put together and processed. Therefore, the CPU 1 is started only once, with uspect to two operations.</p> |
