PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both a reduction of the power consumed when a transmitter for use in a keyless entry system transmits electric waves and enhancement of the convenience of being able to surely transmit the waves even from a relatively remote position through the raising of the transmitting power when necessary. SOLUTION: A set voltage value corresponding to a function specified through the operation of a control switch 11 is read from a corresponding voltage storage part 123, and the set voltage value read is output to a DAC 12b. If the operation indicating the same function is performed again with the control switch 11 before a predetermined time-out period measured by a timer 122 elapses, a counter 121 is incremented, and according to this counter value the voltage setting output to the DAC 12b increases. As a result, the voltage supplied to a transmitting part 15 via a regulator 14 also increases. Therefore, the power for transmitting a remote control signal transmitted via a sending antenna 16 also increases. |
