PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an enzymatic activity determination agent effective for suppressing the error of measured value even in the case of hemolyzed specimen and capable of accurately determining the enzymatic activity in a biospecimen by including a small amount of an azide having a concentration falling within a specific range. SOLUTION: The objective reagent for the determination of enzymatic activity in a biospecimen is composed of a 1st reagent and a 2nd reagent. The 1st reagent of the reagent for the determination of the activity ofγ- glutamyltranspeptidase (γ-GT) in a serum specimen is compounded with 225 mM of glycylglycine and the 2nd reagent is compounded with 20 mM of acetic acid and 18 mM of L-γ-glutamyl-3-carboxy-4-nitroanilide. Further, an azide (e.g. sodium azide) is included in the 1st reagent and/or the 2nd reagent in an amount to give an azide concentration of 0.00007-0.05% in the determination reagent after mixing the 1st and the 2nd reagents.
