PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high stiffness, high yield strength and low equivalent mass by holding a slider on which an element recording or reproducing into or from a recording medium is mounted and being composed of an alloy mainly composed of titanium. SOLUTION: An up-head slider 1 and a down-head slider 2 are faced to a disk 4 rotating around a rotary shaft 5 via a narrow interval, the up-head slider 1 and the down-head slider 2 are attached to a suspension 3 via a gimbal. The suspension 3 is attached to an actuator arm 6 and rotated with a voice coil motor. The suspension 3 is composed of a titanium alloy (titanium 6A1-4V), torsional rigidity of the suspension 3 is improved by bending the end part in the width direction, and equivalent mass is reduced and spring rigidity is maintained in order to restrain jumping of the sliders 1, 2.
