PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the sticking of charged coating particles to an electrostatic coating gun and a robot and at the same time, reduce the length of a coating equipment by providing a mobile robot equipped with an electrostatic coating gun and a barlike electrode which is arranged on both sides of the orbit of the electrostatic coating gun and repels the charged coating particles to be discharged from the gun. SOLUTION: An electrostatic coating gun 11 applies high voltage generated by a high voltage generator 14 to a bell head 11a through a rotating shaft. A robot 12 to which the electrostatic coating gun 11 can be fitted is equipped with a traveling shaft 12a extending in the linear direction A, an arm 12b which is fitted to the traveling shaft 12a and has the gun 11 mounted on the tip and a drive device which moves the arm 12b along the traveling shaft 12a. The barlike electrode 13 is provided on the side of the gun 11 and receives the high voltage from a high voltage generator 16 to repel charged coating particles. In addition, the barlike electrode 13 is movable by a cylinder 17, so that it is possible to avoid a coating mist scattered around the barlike electrode 13 even when the gun 11 is moved forward/backward B.
