PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically switching an absorptive magnetic force is provided to secure safety and productivity by automatically keeping an absorptive magnetic force excited or released when a magnetic absorber body is used as a crane. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically switching an absorptive magnetic force comprises an operating unit(8) having a ring(8") in the center of a body(1), a connecting shaft made of a reverse rotation preventing unit having a stopping ledge, a disk(14) fitted with a mover(14') having an elastic piece, a cylindrical body(11) made of a ring gear(11') engaged with a rack gear(10), and a magnetic fixing disk(15) having a fixing recess fitted with a fixing ledge(17') of a stopper(17). A rotating magnetic body(5) fitted by the connecting shaft rotates 180 angular degrees, and an absorptive magnetic force is switched on to absorb a material. Then, a fixing sill of the operating unit is fixed on a fixing sill of a cover plate(2) and lifted up with a body(1). If the body is placed on the ground, the ring gear rotates idly and the magnetic body is fixed in the 180 degree rotated state. Upon lifting up the ring of the operating unit, the ring gear is rotated. The rotating magnetic body rotates 180 angular degrees, and the polarity is changed. Thus, the absorptive magnetic force is switched off. The off state is kept by the fixing recess of the fixing disk fitted in the fixing ledge of the stopper.
