PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for monitoring a radiation contamination situation, applicable to radiation leakage accident in a mechanized manner and capable of accurately seizing the radiation contamination situation. SOLUTION: Mobile radiation measurement posts 5 are transferred and placed at plural points L1-L8 for measuring radiation leakage from nuclear power facilities 30A, 30B, 30C so that radiation doses measured by the plural radiation measurement posts 5 are taken in for detecting the radiation contamination situation.
