PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which can perform dehumidifying operation not dropping room temperature. SOLUTION: An electrothermic heater 15a extended from an electric heater 15 is wound on pipes 14a and 14b which connect an auxiliary heat exchanger 8d with the rear ramp 8b of a main heat exchanger, and at dehumidifying operation, an expansion valve installed in an outdoor unit is throttled. The above pipes 14a and 14b are heated by the above electric heater 15 so that the evaporation of a refrigerant may be finished within the above auxiliary heat exchanger 8d.
