PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network service method and a device which enable grasp of the utilization situation of distribution data at a distribution destination, for instance, collection of information representing accurate real advertisement results or increase of charging variation of charged distribution. SOLUTION: A server machine 4 has a first holding means holding the distribution data that can be utilized on optional client machines 1a to 1c by being downloaded to the client machines through a network 3, a second holding means holding an application program that is downloaded together with the distribution data by the client machines and used to collect use history of the distribution data in the client machines, and a third holding means for receiving use history data collected by the application program through the network and holding the use history data in the form of being able to notify the providing source of the distribution data. |
