PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality-controlling system for wastewater treatment facilities, which decreases undesirable effects caused by returning water, to a water treatment system of such wastewater treatment facilities. SOLUTION: This water quality-controlling system for wastewater treatment facilities is a system for controlling quality of wastewater of wastewater treatment facilities characterized in that wastewater is treated at a wastewater processing section (51) and resulted sludge is dehydrated by a dehydrator (14) at a sludge treatment section (52) and returning water created by the dehydrator is returned to the wastewater processing section, and is equipped with a means for water quality measurement for measuring water quality (22) and a means 25 for controlling, based on obtained results from the measuring, whereby sludge concentration in the returning water is controlled to remain within an acceptable concentration.
