PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of providing a greater amount of information to a player. SOLUTION: A Pachinko machine comprises a symbol storage means 2, a data control means 4, a display control means 6, and a display 8, a part or the whole of the display area of which is formed into a symbol display area 8a; symbols can be displayed on areas obtained by dividing the symbol display area 8a into (j) lines and (k) columns (j>=2, k>=2). Of the symbols stored according to (m) lines and (n) columns (m>=j, n>=k), the symbols corresponding to the (j) lines and the (k) columns are read by the data control means 4 from the symbol storage means 2 for output together with control data, and the display control means 6 outputs a picture signal to the display 8 on receiving the symbol data and the control data. Although the display 8 can display only (j) lines and (k) columns of symbols at the same time, a maximum of (m) lines and (n) columns of symbols stored in the symbol storage means 2 can be displayed. Therefore, because the display 8 can display information about areas more than the divided areas, a greater amount of information can be provided to a player. |
