A kitchen vent is provided to smoothly exhaust polluted air and prevent the polluted exhaust air from being flowed backward by including a check valve controlling indoor/outdoor air to be flowed in and out, and to purify and sterilize the polluted air by including a sterilizing and purifying device. A kitchen vent comprises a hood frame(200), an exhaust duct(300) and a check valve(400). The hood frame forms an air suction part(100) for suctioning polluted air in a lower surface. The exhaust duct for exhausting the polluted air suctioned into the air suction part to the outside is installed in an upper part of the hood frame. The check valve in the inside of the exhaust duct controls indoor/outdoor air flowing into an indoor or flowing out from the indoor. The check valve includes a housing(410) having cone shape so that the inner side surface is inclined to a lower side direction, and a floating ball(420) covers a lower part of the housing, and controls opening/closing by being lifted and fallen by exhaust pressure of the polluted exhaust air.
