Superposes the images from two cameras at operating at two different frequencies in order to eliminate undesirable physical parameters. The method for creating a temperature image for a very hot opaque body (1) uses two cameras (10A, 10B) at two different frequencies, to produce the image by overlaying. The body (1) being in a place which is inaccessible to the cameras (10A,10B). The image of the body (1) is focused on a first end (5A) of a bunch of optical fibres (5) the other end of the bunch of fibres (5B) is linked to the cameras (10A,10B) by a separating frame (8). The device includes: - a first optical part (4) for focusing the image of the body (1); - a bunch of optical fibres (5) on the first end (5A) of which the body (1) image is focused; - a second optical element (6) for focusing the issued from the other end (5B) of the optical fibre bunch (5); - a separating screen (8) which splits the beam into two; - two cameras (10A,10B) placed behind the screen (8) each receiving the image from one of the split beams. These two camera visualizes the body (1) at two different frequencies.
