A method of manufacturing milk by addition of squeezed juice and powder of Sea Buckthorn(Hippophae rhamnoides) to milk is provided to produce high quality milk rich in nutrients and extend the distribution period of milk. Leaf, steam and fruit of Sea Buckthorn are washed with water, squeezed and filtered to separate liquid and solids. Solids of Sea Buckthorn are dried with a hot wind of 50 to 60deg.C for 2 to 3hr, ground and mixed with squeezed juice. Raw milk is mixed with 5 to 15% by weight of the Sea Buckthorn mixture and sterilized at 60 to 65deg.C for 30min. |
