<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the state of rotation of bearings and capable of accurately and reliably measuring the state of rotation of inner and outer rings even in the case that both inner and outer rings are being rotated and improving accuracy in diagnosing the presence or absence of the occurrence of anomaly to the bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The method for measuring the state of rotation of the bearings is used for measuring the state of rotation of an antifriction bearing A provided with a pair of bearing rings 2 and 4 of which at least either one is opposed to the other one in such a way as to be rotated relatively; a plurality of rolling elements 6 incorporated between the bearing rings in such a way as to freely roll; and a cage 8 for rotation-freely holding the rolling elements. One of the plurality of rolling elements is held in the cage made of a non-magnetic material and incorporated between the bearing rings as a sensor rolling element 6s formed by polarizing a magnetic material. By concentrating magnetism emitted from the sensor rolling element, detecting it as an induced voltage, and measuring the state of output of an induced voltage signal based on the induced voltage, the state of rotation of the antifriction bearing is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
