<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a desire for a wind power generation apparatus making additional control of always rotating a windmill for a purpose of lowering wind speed for starting rotation in the wind power generation apparatus using wind force and having a function of rotation auxiliary drive for the windmill and improving power generation efficiency and simultaneously capable of reducing energy consumption for a rotation auxiliary drive function. <P>SOLUTION: The wind power generation apparatus 1 comprises the Savonius windmill 2 as a drag type windmill, support poles 3a to 3d supporting the Savonius windmill 2 and a facing angle control means 4 for controlling a facing angle of the support poles 3a to 3d and the Savonius windmill 2 and is constructed to enable lowering a cut-in wind speed and further improving power generation efficiency by controlling the facing angle of the support poles 3a to 3d and the Savonius windmill 2 by the facing angle control means 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
