<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidirectional optical space communication system capable of obtaining satisfactory signal strength at any wavelength when using different wavelengths in both of transmission and reception, and to provide an optical transmitting/receiving device. <P>SOLUTION: In a bidirectional optical space communication system using different wavelengths in uplink and downlink directions, different wavelengths are used for both the uplink and downlink wavelengths for adjusting optical system arrangement, thus adjusting the arrangement of an optical system while being biased toward neither the uplink wavelength nor the downlink wavelength. More specifically, the wavelength for optical system arrangement adjustment is provided, and the wavelength for optical system arrangement adjustment can be introduced and extracted in addition to a communication wavelength in an opposing optical transmitter, thus adjusting the arrangement of the optical system using the wavelength for optical system arrangement adjustment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
