PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital caliper capable of extremely easily performing continuous measurement of many measured objects, and continuous measurement of measured objects whose sizes are different each other.SOLUTION: Disk-shaped probes 4, 5 are respectively provided on tip end parts of a stationary arm 2 disposed on a caliper body 1 and of a movable rod 3 which is provided on the caliper body 1 movably in an axial direction. The caliper body 1 comprises detection means 16 for detecting a displacement magnitude of the movable rod 3, and a digital display part 11. A lower face 1b of the caliper body 1 forms a measurement reference face 10, and the measurement reference face 10 is positioned on the same plane where lower end parts of the probe 4 on the stationary arm side and of the probe 5 on the movable rod side, are positioned. When measuring by sandwiching measured objects 18, 19 between both probes 4, 5, the measurement reference face 10 of the caliper body 1 and lower end parts of both probes 4, 5 contact and supported by a horizontal support plane 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
