A method (500) for segmenting a first scene (200) from a sequence of scenes (200) is described. In addition, the method (500) comprises ascertaining (502) statistical variables of the optical flow (310, 311, 312, 313) in different partial regions of the first scene (200). Furthermore, the method comprises determining (503), on the basis of the statistical variables, a separating line (330) between a foreground region (412) and a background region (411) of the first scene (200). In this case, determining (503) the separating line (330) comprises ascertaining, on the basis of the statistical variables, an indicator of whether the optical flow (311, 312, 313) in the background region (411) is attributable to a movement of the vehicle (120). |
