The present invention relates to an automatic pin insertion apparatus for an electronic component, capable of rapidly and accurately inserting a pin to various electronic components, to which the pin is to be coupled for electrical connection, through an automation process. To this end, the automatic pin insertion apparatus for an electronic component of the present invention comprises: a base providing a space in which each component is to be installed; a supply unit installed on one side of the base and supplying a pin frame formed to align a plurality of pins; a housing including a transfer unit installed to be spaced apart from the supply unit on the base to transfer the pin frame to a working point, and having each component for cutting a pin of the pin frame transferred by the transfer unit and inserting the cut pin to a work target; a cutting operation unit installed on one side of the transfer unit in the housing and pressing and cutting a pin of the pin frame transferred by the transfer unit to the work point; an insertion operation unit installed on one side of the cutting operation unit in the housing and inserting the pin pressed and cut by the cutting operation unit into the work target; and a driving mechanism unit installed in the housing and coupled to the cutting operation unit and the insertion operation unit such that power can be transferred, to generate driving power for pressing and cutting the pin of the pin frame and inserting the pin and providing the driving power. |
