PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of combustion in furnaces for minimizing the quantities of nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide in exhaust gas and for improving the heat transferring to object to be heated and equipment. SOLUTION: Burners 11 to 14 are arranged at predetermined intervals along a furnace 1 having a heating chamber 2, gas fuel is mixed with pre-heated air and steam with the ratio of 0.6-0.7 to 1 by weight, the mixed fuel gas is combusted at each burner at the temperature of 1500 to 1600 deg.C, object to be heated is heated improving the heat transferring rate by heat resistant ceramic member 31 arranged in the inside of the heating chamber, nitrogen oxide in exhaust gas conducted into a catalysis cistern is decomposed by residual oxygen and separating carbon dioxide conducted into a carbon dioxide gas separator III, and exhaust gas 40 is emitted to the air. |
