PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that properly executes a command corresponding to a specific touch operation when the specific touch operation is performed while adapting imaging setting conditions to a subject specified by a touch-down operation.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging part 22 which images a subject; imaging preparation means (S306) of adjusting imaging setting conditions in the imaging part 22; a display part 28 which receives an indication from a user; a system control part 50 which makes the imaging preparation means perform adjustment of imaging setting conditions such as a focus, exposure, and white balance, when the user performs a touch-down operation on the display part 28; recovery means (S312) of recovering the imaging setting conditions before the adjustment by the imaging preparation means is performed when a specific touch operation is performed following the touch-down operation; and execution means (S313) of executing a command corresponding to the specific touch operation after the recovery of the condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
