PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output circuit and a transmitter, capable of controlling output power in high resolution, without changing size of power amplification unit.SOLUTION: An output circuit includes: a plurality of power amplifier units 15 and 16; a ΔΣ modulator 13 for performing ΔΣ modulation based on a first signal Sa indicating amplitude information on a baseband signal BBS; a unit control circuit 18 for controlling an output power by selecting operating power amplifier units PA1 and PA2 within the plurality of power amplifier units based on an output signal of the ΔΣ modulator; and a phase inversion control circuit 10 for receiving a second signal Sp indicating phase information on the baseband signal, controlling phase inversion of the second signal based on a phase inversion control signal SCp from the unit control circuit, and outputting the controlled signal to the power amplifier unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
