METHOD OF PROCESSING WORN-OUT TIRES

FIELD: manufacture of tires. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by introducing whole tires into high-temperature reactor. Gaseous hydrocarbon is fed and heated. Temperature in reactor bottom portion is 250-425 C and in reactor top portion is 130-200 C. Purified metallic chord and hydrocarbon products are produced. Hydrocarbon product comprises (%): liquid products 58-62; gaseous products 7- 10; and solid residue, 31-32. Process occurs for about 35 min. Natural gas and processed partially gaseous products are used. Process is waste-free and safe and makes it possible to reduce power consumption. EFFECT: more efficient processing method. 1 ex
