METHOD OF ROVING PRODUCTION AND DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT

FIELD: methods and devices for production of fibrous semifinished product with constant linear density in the form of roving used for production of yarn by drawing and twisting. SUBSTANCE: web coming out of draw box is imparted false twisting with the help of mechanical scroll tube to increase productivity of roving frame due to formation of roving in the form of fibrous core which is wound around with fibers of the same type with pitch of winding-around more than 10 mm without rotation of bobbin with formed roving and by more simple means. Scroll tube consists of two parts between which weaving-around fibers coming out of draw box are introduced. Weaving-around component is laid on surface of twisted roving between two parts of scroll tube. After coming out of scroll tube, roving is untwisted and when approaching the discharge pair it fully looses twisting, however weaving-around component in this case, weaves around the fibrous core to impart the required strength. Pitch of weaving-around is selected so as to provide for strength of formed roving sufficient for its winding-on and subsequent unwinding on spinning frame, but without interfering with normal running of drawing process.
