PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on a user of wireless LAN setting.SOLUTION: A printer transmits advertisement data on the basis of respective connection methods while switching the connection methods sequentially (refer to "advertisement 11" to "advertisement 3j"). The advertisement data is received by an access point to which a connection method at the time of transmission of the advertisement data is set (refer to "advertisement 12"), and the access point notifies the printer that radio connection by the same connection method as the received advertisement data is possible by return of request prod data (refer to "request prod"). The printer having received the return sets the reported connection method, i.e. the same connection method as that set at the access point. Thus, the printer is set to the same connection method as the access point and it gets into a state where the wireless communication is possible between the printer and the access point. |
