PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system that can restrain generation of speckle noise.SOLUTION: A projection system is equipped with a plurality of projection devices for projecting light on a planar projection receiving face. Out of the plurality of projection devices, at least two devices project light on different areas of the projection receiving face at least partly in a prescribed direction along the projection receiving face, and so project light that the optical axes of the projected light rays cross each other as viewed in a direction along the projection receiving face and in a direction orthogonal to the prescribed direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
