PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roadside communication device capable of properly selecting a time synchronization system.SOLUTION: A roadside communication device 2 for performing time synchronization with another roadside communication device 2 includes a synchronization processing part 20 for selectively performing GPS synchronization by a 1PPS signal outputted by a GPS receiver 13 and air synchronization by time information included in a reception signal from the other roadside communication device 2 in accordance with "positioning quality" being information showing a state of positioning by the GPS receiver 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
