PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC motor driving device capable of not only suppressing noise but also reducing temperature raising with heat generation of a switching element forming an inverter part that supplies power to an AC motor.SOLUTION: An AC motor driving device 1 comprises: a voltage detection part 2 that detects a voltage value Vdc of a DC bus bar 6; an inverter part 3 by which DC power is converted into a three-phase AC and supplied to an AC motor 4; an encoder 41 for detecting a rotational position of the AC motor 4; and a control part 5 that outputs a control signal Gs for performing ON/OFF control on a switching element of the inverter part 3 on the basis of the voltage value Vdc, an angular frequency command value (rotational speed) ω_ref and a position signal (d) from the encoder 41. A harmonic command value of a frequency three times as high as a phase current is superposed on the angular frequency command value, such that the AC motor driving device is capable of not only suppressing noise but also reducing temperature raising with heat generation of the switching element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
