PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium capable of forming an internal electric field which is sufficiently large in the ratio (Dip) of a diffusion coefft. D and mobility μ and is sufficiently large therein even if the electric field is not impressed thereon from outside. SOLUTION: This optical recording medium contains a charge generating material and a charge transfer material. This charge generating material includes two kinds of the first and second charge generating materials of <=0.3 eV in the difference of ionization potential. The compounding ratios of the first and second charge generating materials are so determined as to satisfy the following relation with respect to the total weight W of the charge generating materials: 0.2<(P1 /W)<=0.8, 0.2<(P2 /W)<=0.5, where W denotes the total weight of the charge generating materials and P1 and P respectively denote the weights of the first and second charge generating materials. |
