The metal base is coated with zinc by vacuum deposition, and an organic coating of paint, plastic or lacquer is applied. The metal can be of steel, aluminium or copper. The zinc is about 2.5 mu thick and the coating can be epoxy-vinyl-silicone-acrylic or alkyd paint or of a mixture of these. |
