PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide milking equipment capable of carrying out the fitting operation of a milking cup based on a manual handling by reduced labor efficiently. SOLUTION: This milking apparatus is equipped with a supporting mechanism Aa for supporting a milking cup 50 attachable and detachable to a cow teat to be a target for milking movably in the horizontal direction and liftably. A control means for controlling the moving operation of the supporting mechanism Aa is constituted to change from an automatic handling state for moving and operating the supporting mechanism Aa for automatically fitting the milking cup 50 to a teat based on the detected position information of the cow teat existing at a fixed position for milking to a manual handling state for allowing the moving operation of the supporting mechanism Aa by a manual handling. A balancing mechanism for allowing a lifting and lowering operation by the manual handling of the supporting mechanism Aa and producing a lifting operation force so as to balance the weight of the supporting mechanism Aa during the lifting and lowering operation by the manual handling is installed. |
