PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain alkyl (meth)acrylate, formamide, and highly pure carbon monoxide efficiently in a wide range of temperature, by reacting a carboxylic acid amide with an alkyl formate in the presence of a crosslinked anion exchanger having specific structure. SOLUTION: The alkyl (meth)acrylate, formamide, and highly pure carbon monoxide are obtained by reacting a carboxylic acid amide (e.g. α- hydroxyisobutylic acid amide, methacrylic acid amide) with an alkyl formate in the presence of a crosslinked anion exchanger containing 5-99 wt.%, per total monomer, of a repeating unit as a component shown by the formula (A is a 3-6C alkylene or a 5-8C alkoxymethylene; R1 -R3 are each a 1-4C alkyl or a 1-4C alkanol; X is a counter ion against the ammonium group) at 20-100 deg.C. |
