Valve plate for encapsulated motor piston compressors of small refrigerators is of glass-reinforced polyphenylene oxide and polystyrene plastics. Pref. the holes required in the plate are bored or stamped. The plate is extruded from a granulate containing glass fibres. The valve seating and depressions and a smooth surface are produced by heat-shaping in a highly polished mould lined with release medium. |
