PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin preparation for external use, having excellent skin- whitening effect and useful as a cosmetic, medicine or the like having high safety by including one or more kinds of ascorbic acid or the like, and glutathione. SOLUTION: This skin preparation contains (A) preferably 0.001-20 wt.% one or more kinds of compounds selected from L-ascorbic acid or its derivative (e.g. L-ascorbic acid phosphoric acid ester magnesium salt), an extract of placenta (e.g. purified water extract of bovine placenta), kojic acid and its derivative, glycoside of hydroquinone (e.g. hydroquinone β-D-glucose) and its derivative, tranexamic acid and its derivative and ellagic acid and (B) preferably 0.001-20 wt.% glutathione. The skin preparation for external use is utilized as ointment, cream, milk lotion or the like. |
