Forging press having a main frame and a main slide provided in the main frame and driven by acrank shaft so as to cooperate with a main bolster for the forging operation of work pieces successively, wherein the improvement comprises a subslide provided at one side of the main frame and driven by the crank shaft and a subbolster provided at said one side of the main frame so as to cooperate with the subslide.
