The insulated connection between pipes prevents heat leakage between a fuel tank and a boiler. It comprises a sleeve (12) of insulating material arranged between the exterior of one pipe and the interior of a fitting (14) connectable to the other pipe end. The exterior of the fitting is screw-threaded for reception of the nut thread of a clamp ring (22) having an internal conical shoulder to engage a correspondingly conical exterior at one end of the sleeve to clamp latter end radially on to the one pipe end and simultaneously secure the fitting to the one pipe.
