An evaporator type air moisteuring device having at least one heat dissipation surface and a trough type evaporator container which is heated by the heating element has the evaporator container (1) constructed from thin sheet material forming a disposable trough. The evaporator container (1) is mounted on the heating element (2) so that it can be easily removed and has a heat flow surface (9) of planar type. The heat flow surface (9) lies on or makes contact with the heat dissipation surface (8). The heating surface may have two surfaces arranged in a V-shape. The underside of the container may be ribbed.
