PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which any trouble of a worker is eliminated, and installation and maintenance are made effective, by simplifying and facilitating opening and closing work of a service cover. SOLUTION: When a service cover 1 is at the neighbourhood of a closing position, rotation is restricted with a restriction member having resilient force to form a gap 7 between it and a service opening 4 (front grill 3). A worker inserts the thumb into the gap 7 to grip a lower portion of the service cover 1 to rotate it upward and move the same to an opening position. Thus, the service cover 1 can be opened without shifting the cover 1 from one hand to the other in the course of the work. Further, provided a knob 14 is formed on the lower portion of the service cover 1, the service cover 1 is facilitated to be gripped. Fixation of the service cover 1 in the closed state is achieved with a screw. |
