The automatic water feeder is for flower pots and flower boxes. It consists of an outer pot and an insertable inner pot or an outer box with a suspended inner box. Between the two is a cavity to accept water. At one point in the cavity is a water distribution mechanism which can be so adjusted via a scale and a pointer that water passes into the flower pot or flower box in desired volumes from the cavity via a channel. The inner pot has a stand ring inside which is a porous inaly through which the water is guided into the flower pot via holes in the bottom of the pot.
