PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit operation for copying a source sentence or table again, to generate a sentence and a table of different characters by a simple method, and to make viewable them in parallel to the source sentence and table, by temporarily storing a character in a storage means and then displaying it, copying the character to another location of a storage means once the character is determined, and writing the character in the storage means to a sentence and a table at a copy destination as well. SOLUTION: A numeral is inputted on a keyboard 2 at the position of the cursor. The inputted numeral is stored temporarily in a buffer area 7c. The inputted numeral is called and displayed on a liquid crystal display unit 3. The inputted numeral is determined by operating the carriage return key or the like of the keyboard 2. Table data in a text area 7b are copied to another location in the text area 7b and stored. The numeral in the buffer area 7c is stored in the copied table at the same relative position with the initial input to the table. The new numeral is used to calculate an in-table numeral value. Then, the source table and new table are both displayed on the liquid crystal display unit 3. |
