PURPOSE:To restrain the distortion rate low in signal transmission and imitate completely interrelation between movement of the head of a listener and the arrival time difference of sound across both ears by giving a frequency characteristic to the change rate of the inter-channel time difference of the binaural signal which reaches the listener and by changing the frequency largely for a lower frequency. CONSTITUTION:Network 2-5 have transfer function [(1-jomegaT)/(1+jomegaT)] respectively. Networks 2 and 3 are inserted to the right channel signal transmission line of the binaural signal and are cascaded, and networks 4 and 5 are inserted to the left channel signal transmission line of the binaural signal and are cascaded. Then, a frequency characteristic is given to the change rate of time difference, and the frequency is changed largely for a lower frequency. |
