<p>A belt guide roll is mounted in a bearing carriage of a bearing pedestal, fitted with securing flanges. A seal (5) contacts the belt wide surface. The flanges have holes for fastening screws. The seal is secured to a separate insert component, which is connectable to the bearing pedestal. The arrangement of the insert component and bearing pedestal is such that the seal free end is moved towards the surface of the guide roll. The seal free end and the guide roll define the belt through-gap, while abutting each a wide belt surface.</p> |
