PURPOSE:To transmit power from a rotary section to a stationary section by means of a non-contact method by providing the first electromagnetic member connected to a generator on the rotary section side and by providing the second electromagnetic member on the stationary section so as to couple both electromagnetic members electromagnetically. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase AC power from a generator 7 is connected to a moving coil 15 of the first electromagnetic member 12 fixed to a strut 4 with a cable 9, and the second electromagnetic member 13 provided on a mount 5 is connected to the cable 11 for feeding out the electric power. The magnetic field generated in the moving coil 15 forms a magnetic path such as phi through iron cores 14, 16 of individual electromagnetic members at an instant. That is, under an instant condition when the electric power is fed from a generator 7, a current flows through the moving coil 15, resulting in generation of the magnetic field phi, by which a current is induced in the moving coil 15. Therefore, excellent maintenability can be available with no problem of wear because no brush is used such as to require a mechanical contact. |
