<p>For directed and quantity adapted application of fluid mediums when machining workpieces in workshop machines and therewith avoiding unnecessary wastage of the fluid medium in question, the invention concerns such a device and comprises a body (1), with a displaceable piston (2) arranged in the body, a supply opening (8) for the fluid medium arranged through the wall (11) of the body, whereby the supply opening is arranged to communicate with a chamber (3) in the body and an outlet opening (9) arranged in a head (6) through which the fluid medium supplied through the supply opening (8) can be made to leave the device. Furthermore, in the body (1) is arranged an insert (4) with a channel (26) which communicates with the chamber (3) and via a valve (5) also with the outlet opening (9). The valve (5) is arranged in the head (6) and thereby between the insert (4) and the outlet opening (9). The insert (4) is together with the valve (5) arranged to be axially displaceable in the device. The head (6) which is arranged to engage with the body (1) is arranged to be adjustable in the device's axial direction, whereby the stroke of the device can be adjusted through said head.</p> |
