PURPOSE:To enable a colored tape to be easily set to a marking position, by a construction wherein colored tape feeding means are arranged in a three- dimensional manner, and a tape-feeding part is provided which extends between a type wheel of a marking machine and a support for a marking material. CONSTITUTION:The colored tape replacing mechanism 10 comprises at least two colored tape feeding means 22A, 22B arranged in a three-dimensional manner so that they do not interfere with each other in the horizontal directions. The means have the tape-feeding parts 18a, 18b extending substantially horizontally between the type wheel 20 and the support 14 at the marking position, and the type wheel 20 is depressed downward through the parts 18a, 18b. By selectively driving driving means 42A, 42B, it is made possible to move a predetermined one of the means 22A, 22B to the marking position and replace the colored tape. |
