摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To stabilize a reference value, and to execute a shape detection with high accuracy, by deriving an elongation percentage, based on an average value of a tension value in each area where a band-shaped body has been divided into plural parts in the width direction, and the maximum value of the tension value in each area, etc., as a reference. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a displacement detector 7 having plural pieces of displacement detecting electrodes in the width direction of a band-shaped body. By applying an external force to the band-shaped body, a displacement in each area (channels 1-n) is detected by the displacement detector 7. Each displacement output signal which has been detected by the displacement detector 7 is converted to a tension value by a tension value converting circuit 9. Based on this tension value, an average tension value is derived by an average value arithmetic circuit 11. An elongation percentage arithmetic circuit 12 calculates an elongation percentage (average value reference) from the tension values of each channel 1-(n) and said average tension value. In this regard, even when the maximum value of the tension, or other tension value of an arbitrary channel than that of the end part in the width direction is used as the reference value, the same effect can be expected.</p>
